21 Years ago we lost a friend. Then we lost another… we buried our friends on the same day. We were only 17.

I remember at the time thinking how unfair it was to lose two friends in such a short period of time.

Then I became a Father. I realized losing friends was a part of life. The real tragedy was two sets of parents and siblings having to bury their son and brother. My heart aches for those families even after all these years.

This year, we’re thrilled to announce that 100% of the proceeds will go toward providing each primary classroom with a set of Heggerty Class Libraries and decodable readers for independent reading. Heggerty aligns with the new curriculum and is being taught in all FDK–Grade 2 classes.

The cost to implement this is just shy of $1000. So naturally, this will be our goal! So please. Check every corner of the home. Invite friends, family or other community members to get involved. Goals are meant to be surpassed.

It was a Casini & Son + One installment of Take your kid to work day. I had a blast with TWO extra sets of hands for a couple showings. It was a blast showing these two the ropes with @sharibreitwieser at Foster Living HQ!

I want to thank @thom.brow.mortgages who joined us for lunch. The boys got a great look into the world of Mortgage Brokers and an inside look at how the two careers intertwine so often. Thanks Thom! The boys and I appreciate your time.

@raju_bee took time out of his very busy day to introduce the Boys to his universe. They got to see @birkhomes latest project. They were explained how the job is run from beginning to end. The reasons why you think ahead in your project, plan accordingly and never take short cuts. thanks Raj!
